Will a '77 2d gas tank (from V8) fit in a '75 4d (used to be 250, now 302). Is there a capacity difference between the two as well?

    Thanks,
    Atzy.

Yes, a '77 gas tank will fit in a '75.

    All models were the same whether it's a 6 cyl. or an 8 cyl., and if it's a 2-door or a 4-door.

The '77 tank is about 3 gallons bigger, so you want to keep the '77 straps to go around the bigger belly. (Note: If your '75 was built after 10/75, it might have had a bigger tank anyway).

    Thanks...

for the information. It was built in 10/75, so I'll just have to compare straight up. Thanks!

    Arriel.
