unless the granada has rear disc breaks it probably has an 8 in not a 9 in, your 70 should have a 8 in already, the best way to tell is to see if your maverick's rear has a removable inspection plate in the back.. i think the trans crossmember will work, i was told that it will, i think someone here has used one. the motor crossmember is differnt. the front spindles you can use..

bad mav i will check the rear to make sure which one it is. would a 69-73 mustang 9" rear work, i dont care about it sticking out further as long as the spring perches line up well let me know talk to you later.

oops, i ment to say that if the rear has the inspection plate in the back it is not an 8 in.. an 8 in will have a front loading case (or pumpkin) like a 9 in, you will want to use the 8in from the granada anyway because it is a 5 lug rear, it will open up many more wheel choices for you..

a lot of granadas have a rear that is neither an 8 in or a 9 in, it will have an inspection plate on the back it is basically junk. it would only be good to do a 5 lug convertion.. it does not have any gear options like an 8 in or 9 in will have..

if memory serves me right the rear did have a rear acsess plate. so i guess that eliminates that. thanks again.

David a Mustang rear will work but use a 67-70 rear end, a 71-73 will be too wide even with offset wheels. the 67-70 is 2 3/4" wider than your Mavericks, also the spring purches are in the correct place.
