do granada disc brakes really interchange with mavericks?
i heard that the 75-80 granada's are a direct swap (with granada spindles)

I am assuming then that also Mercury Monarch and Lincoln Versaiile would be the same also.

    1970 mav. brakes

i have a 1970 maverick, 6 cyl, 3 speed. it came with 4 bolt brakes / hubs. i'm being offered a complete front, 5 lug, drum braking system including spindles from a 1967 mustang V8 car. will it work?

tbolt; take the time and find disc brakes, if at all possible. They are easy to find, and give you a much better and safer braking system.

I agree with Earl ... and why go through all that effort and still have drum brakes?

spindles from a 1967 mustang V8 car. will it work?

No. Only the '70 Mustang shared the same spindle with drum brake Mavericks.
