I am a new proud owner of a 1971 Maverick. I have already purchased a 351W and a C4 auto to put in it. Please tell me where I can buy a set of Headers that will fit? This seems to be a real problem.

Also can anyone tell me what tilt columns will work easily in the Maverick? I have been told that a 75-80 Granada or Monarch will work. Is that correct? Will the disc brakes work also.

    Thanks in advance.

Here is what mine looked like when I bought it. Not enough room for a 351 with headers. Shock towers were cut for clearance, and they smashed some of the headers to make them fit. 351 is wider than a 302

I was not willing to cut out the shock towers (shave them) so I sold the 351w and have a new 355HP 302 getting built. I want a clean car when I get done.
Thanks for the advice to help me guys.
