Headers?

    Who makes the best fitting full length headers I gave the ones away for my maverick because they were so beat up and I dont want anything fancy just some old black painted ones are fine with me I am just getting ready to drop in my 289 and need some headers unless anyone close in ohio has some for sale ley me know thanks.

    use the search feature and you will find a ton of info on this. i run headmans but had to eliminate the connecting rod from floor shifter to the column and switch off power steering to get back decent right turns.

    i have the summit racing headers on mine. didnt have to move anything out of the way to get them on.

    Ok i just bought a set of headers from summit for 100$ + shiping and they fit like a glove the only thing is that the power steering arm ''thing'' that mounts under the car and is what makes the steering linkage move hit's the headers when you turn to the left but they make a drop bracket for that prob! ps i found a post that sed that hooker headers and other ones had the same problm

    I am confused on what headers to buy. I have talked to several people and they have told me to get either 6901 or 6110 hooker headers. I have a 71 comet auto. On column, p/s ,pwr disc brakes from a 75 grabber,302 engine. I would like to leave the shifter on the column does anyone have any suggestions.

    i have Hedman Shorties #88400 my car is a column shift, power steering but i dont have disc brakes so i'm not sure if that will interfere

    I have FlowTech 12100 on mine to. ther great but u have to put them in thru the botom of the car.
