heater parts from a comet

    hello, i need heater parts for my 72 4 dr. mav. i located a big bumper comet
    and would like to know if the flap that controls the heat will fit. the comet
    has a six i could'nt open the hood but a few inches so i don't now what size the six is. if i get the hood open,would the battery tray fit? thank you.

    The heater controls are the same as long as you using the same type system that is in your car. In other words, if your car has factory air, you have to use parts off another factory air system. Or non ac system parts if that is what yours is. The battery trays are the same.

    to capture the flapper and other parts.:clap:

    bad news the comet was gone. i asked where it went he don't know but it might be crushed i left in shock, it only was hit in the drivers door and part of the front fender
    i don't know why it was there in the first place the rest of the car was like new even the bumpers. the search goes on.

    WHAT EXACTLY IS WRONG WITH YOUR FLAPPER DOORS? IF ITS THE FOAM FALLING OFF YOU CAN RESTORE IT, I JUST GOT DONE RESTORING MY FLAPPER DOORS, I WENT TO A FABRIC DEPOT AND GOT THE SAME MATERIAL AND I USED CONTACT CEMENT, JUST LIKE THEY DID AT FACTORY, HOPE THIS HELPS YOU OUT

    wow never seen one rusted like that, im in arizona so i dont see much rust, u deffintly need a new one
