I need some advice on how to wire my 1975 250 that replaced the 200 in my '70 Grabber. I have the wiring diagrams for both, but I'm not sure how to make sense of it. The 1970 wiring diagram shows the neg from the coil going to the Condenser and the 1975 goes to the Control Unit? What is the best way to adapt the older 1970 (200ci) wiring harness to the 1975 (250ci ) wiring harness? Will the older 200ci distributor work with the 250ci motor? Is the Control Unit needed and what does it do?

These diagrams are a lot better!! I'll try again today and see if I can get it going. Thanks.

Yep, the points distributor will drop right in from your old engine (you'll need to swap the coil off your old engine as well), or, as I would strongly suggest, you can hook the electronic ignition up.

My suggestion would be to just make your own harness for the electronic ignition. Just mount the control module wherever you want it, cut 3 lengths of wire long enough to reach the distributor, one wire long enough to reach the negative side of the coil. Just match the colors up, black to black, purple to purple, orange to orange, and run the green wire to the negative side of the coil. Run the red wire to any switched 12v source, and you're ready to run. I've never bothered with the white wire.
