Really? I don't see it that way. It almost looks to me that no laws are broken here. You use battery power to make it, but it is the actual reaction in the engine with gasoline that makes it work. You could be in theory using the engine's heat to get a larger gain by the hydrogen and any fumes that circulate back to the engine explode due to pressure and the added heat and causing it to use less gasoline.

I observed something this morning that I have never caught before. I cleaned my booster last night. I got in my car this morning I found after I reset my MPG average thing (I don't know what it is called) that came with my car my MPG were down to where they used to be in range. It was cold this morning at about 50 degrees when I started off. I just thought I didn't get it hooked up properly or a connection came loose then after about 3 or 4 minutes it started to go up while just getting to crusing speed. I set my cruse like I normaly do every day and then reset the MPG average display thing and it went back up to before I cleaned it.

I don't know why it did that and I am going watch for it again tomorrow morning. It almost looks like the engine's heat may cause some type of reaction between the hydrogen and gasoline like I saw this morning before the engine warmed up to optimal temp.

Before you start tromping on my head just remember it is all theory.

i have always thought, that "any" gains in gas mileage would be negated by the increased amperage the alternator would pull, and/or weight from an extra battery, or the kit.....a 5% increase is a waste of time to me, maybe not to you guys though....

I wish this was posted under a tech article for the weary/skeptical......
so if you felt like doing the kit, ehhh.... and if you didn't, ehhh.....

you keep saying that but you have not been able to provide us with sufficient evidence other than your say so...your background online is kind of fishy so that is one count against you, you have changed your story several times so thats another count against you, and sorry to say your posts have gotten repetitive :deadhorseeven if your point was valid with all the crap that has passed alot of people have already dismissed it as another hoax.

You have 63 posts on this forum and they are only on this thread, half the time you are arguing with Tilly(who can be considered in the same boat as you) or one of our regular members, (yes including myself)

So my point is either provide us with tangible proof from a reliable 2nd or 3rd party(heck you have not even shown us a working unit on your own car, that I will give credit for Bubba he is trying it). Or please take your "firewater" elsewhere so this thread can die.

Or as my grandpa would say Sh1t or get off the pot.

You know as well as I do that if I get someone to also say it is true it wouldn't make a difference. I mean take a look at Bob and what he has discovered about it working and when he posted that people here attacked him.

As for chaning my story by either frustration of tring to explain it (like when I made a statement somone desides to argue. Like when I said Hydrogen was a gren flame and it isn't. It burns clear http://wiki.answers.com/Q/Why_hydrogen_burns_with_a_blue_flame and I found that one out later. My chem class in college we used Sulfate and man did that smell bad. Moving on, the proper relations to time line as when things changed and I tried different things.

I really don't give a crap if you believe me or not. I am talking about things I have ran into while working on the booster because that is the title of the forum and not attacking the people talking about it.

Talk about a hypocrite. Saying it doesn't work when you haven't tried it is no different than me trying it and saying it works.

    Hydrogen generators in cars 'fraud'
    The New Zealand Herald
    3:13PM Tuesday Sep 30, 2008

"Michael Fresnel, co-founder of OctaFuel New Zealand, made the admission in a statement today, two days before a Hamilton motoring writer, Eric Otoka, was planning to disclose results of his trial of the OctaFuel hydrogen fuel system designed to reduce petrol consumption.

Otoka was going to go public in his Loose Nut column in Waikato Times motoring section on Thursday, and say his trial found the generators did not work.
But Mr Fresnel said today his company now "believes the technology is a fraud, and advises New Zealanders to avoid spending money online buying on-board hydrogen generators and instruction manuals on how to build them".

    *This unit cost $3,500 installed.

Yea that is kinda a rip off. $3,500 for something that costs $100 at most. Yet this doesn't prove anything just like my articles or are you going to be a hypocrite as well? Because you can't believe anyone unless they produce test results. You also have to take in consideration that there product can't make enough or made from cheap parts. Most often if the person doesn't want anything other then to help he may be telling the truth. As with being bought out you are going to down grade your product just to spite for some reason...ever think of that...course not.

Just like any results and findings, there's a "margin of error"...results so small and insignificant that they don't constitute proof, validity or even acutal "results"

I've never seen any actual results from HHO "technology" in the real world, or even on this board, that even come close to exceeding a margin of error in gas milage increases......going from 13 mpg to 13.6 is not "positive" or "successful" results....especially considering the amount of time and money invested.

....but by all scientific and research standards, HHO "technology" isn't.....At best, it's an invalid theory, at worst, it's a hoax and a rip-off, I've heard it from experts, I've heard it from authorities, I've heard it from consumer watchdogs who have nothing to gain or lose by it's validity or failure.....

What I haven't heard from ANYONE is any proof it works, or any results that actually qualify as "working"

Brad, maybe you and Bob should swap IM addies, and message yourselves silly about your HHO research and development, invest as much of your money and time on it as your heart's desire....

But this is a Maverick board, and even though this thread is "other automotive tech talk".....the "tech" of HHO has been done to death here, come up empty, and is now nothing but back-and-forth multi-repeating of the same information and debate, and not just a waste of time discussing any further here, but the time of everyone who found themeselves in the middle of this debate, it's wasting bandwidth on a Maverick forum so basically two HHO believers can "share info". You complain about all the nay-sayers, but insist on continuing this discussion here where obviously, a HUGE majority of it's membership are not now, nor ever will be convinced or swayed about HHO

Brad, you found your believer(s?)....and after scores of pages and hundreds of posts, aside from you and one or two others, the subject is dead here.....

I'm not asking you or Bob to leave, but I think it's time the subject of HHO does, and progresses to the next natural level, which is discussion of HHO among it's enthusiastic proponents...... elsewhere......somewhere you can freely swap info and results with fellow "enthusiasts" without all the "nay-sayers" mucking up the discussion.....it's what the miracle of e-mail and instant messaging was made for.

but it has gotten to the point that the HHO discussion doesn't belong here anymore.

Your right Bum's_Steer. I was ready to let it go, but I returned to the board to look around at other things to comment on and found Bob catching some flack so since I took some flack before I thought I would take some so he is not discouraged in trying it out.

I am actualy glad to be on this board because I really don't know about Mavericks or Comets the closest I have ever gotten to older cars it the RoadRunner my Dad had 10 years ago when I was in college

Bum, you have some damned nerve saying this doesn't belong here anymore, and complaining about how it's the same crap back and forth, considering you are one of the ones causing that right now.

And further more, I dont care WHAT you consider or dont consider result. 5-8% is NOT margin of error if it's held out over a period of time. And besdies, that was only a start. Im improving as I go...

    Are you dumb?

I dont think I can count the times I have insisted in this thread that Im not a "believer". THis is my evenin project... an experiment if you will.

Now, i havent countinued this "debate". I have made updates with my projects, but that's about it. People like YOU have turn this into non-sense. (and than complained how long on it's gone, how ironic)

Now, if you don't like the contents of this thread, then go away. DOH! :tiphat:

Once again, im experirmenting with this. I dont need the repeated "it wont work" crap. ILL decide that.

Wow, I haven't checked into this thread for quite a while, but have kinda glanced at the email alerts.

But it sure sounds like some of you guys need to calm down.
If someone wants to "waste" their money on trying to get one to work, let them. It's their money... let them spend it how they want.

I'm still not a believer however, but if someone wants to try it then that's just fine and dandy by me

Most of the BS is being stirred up by people who only joined the board to stir it. I think that's the part that people are getting tired of. I haven't seen anything Bubba wrote that qualifies as being counter-productive. I admit I have been throwing rocks, but not at him.

The conversation here has gone full circle more times than I can count. The rampant propaganda is long past the point of tedious, and really the debunking has become just as fanatical. One guy discredits himself repeatedly but keeps on going to the point of being pathetic. (Brad, I'm embarrassed for you) And another seems to be on a personal crusade against this stuff, and while I don't disagree with him, he's been civil and he actually cites good sources, he is so rabid about it that one has to question why this is so important to him. (Tilly, did an HHO generator kill your cat?) And of course regular members who actually do post in other threads, talk about cars and otherwise get along are now falling in under their banners, slinging mud and getting pissed at each other when I'm firmly convinced this thread would not have come to this point without all the outside intervention.

Brad and Tilly, if you are the same person, then this has been a fantastic troll and the time has come to fess up, get banned and bask in the glory of a perfectly executed cluster#@%k.

If not... Please, please calm down, have a look around and participate in some other threads. Talk about carburetors, drag slicks and spark plugs with us, and just let this go. It's not a debate anymore, nobody's opinions are going to change. Ask yourself is there really a point anymore?
