I used the correct arm. The 20 gallon arm using the spectra f30 tank Which is 19 gallons so it shouldn’t read that level with so little gas. But it was struggle to get in but it works great.

weird let us know the solution when you figure it out. I plan to redo all my wiring with a ron francis kit and doing the single barrel sniper on my 250 l6. glad to know I can use this sending unit.

Talked with Holley tech support and was able to get the Ohms for the unit. Full should be 4-8, empty around 75. No took apart the unit again and was able to find a small issue with one of the grounds. Now it works perfectly! Drove the car 10 miles no issues at all. The gas gauge reads just over 3/4 of the way full on a full tank. I am using the 19 gallon tank and a 20 gallon arm so I can live with the slight discrepancy. Overall I like the combo. The Sniper is very responsive and isn’t a hard instal at all. Highly recommend it so far.

You can calibrate the gauge with a simple potentiometer or "trim pot" if you like. There are a 100 articles and discussions on it out there, but here's one: https://www.ffcars.com/threads/calibrating-fuel-gauge.614282/

Maybe the 16 gallon arm instead of the 20?

Possibly, but that thing is such a pain in the butt to get in and out plus dropping the tank it’s not worth it right now. Worst case I will buy a calibration unit for it.

And this is with your stock tank with the sending unit that comes out the side behind the left rear tire?
