only 71-77comets although you could modify one to fit...or just buy a carbon fiber one from maverickman.com
you could put the comet hood on but youd aslo have to use the comet latch and grill. it'll take alot of work to get a mustang hood to work but alot of mustang and other scoops are reproduced on the aftermarket you could just bolt on for less than $100. the carbon fiber one 75 mentioned is nice but at $700 it'll probably be more or at least half what you paid for the car.
i dont know it THATS it but someone did make one just like that and later wrecked it into a tree. i think i remember a member posting on here that he had a shot it some parts off it before it being junked
No photochop here. I took the pics myself. I have known the guy that did it for decades. Yes. He had a nasty little 347/T5 in it and another guy lost control of it and ran it into a tree. The guy that built it was a Chebbie guy and was going to straight up junk it. I asked him to let me check it over for decent parts. He let me take anything I wanted. Not much good on it anymore, but I did get a pair of sport mirrors and a Grabber ducktail spoiler for free. I've got several pics of it, including after it was wrecked. The mud on the tire is because it sat for a long while in that pic and rain splattered dirt up on it. The pic in this thread was shortly after his 2nd wreck in the car. He ran into the back of a truck and destroyed the original front clip. Then he put a Stang front clip on when he couldn't find all the Mav parts locally. Eventually he got it looking real nice after he started buying repop Stang front end parts. Put a new bumper, grille, trim, and all kinds of goodies. Then he wrecked it again and parked it for a while... That's when I took this pic. He sold it to a young Navy enlisted, who lost control and totalled it. End of story.
