What an awesome collection! That brings back alot of memories. I was born in '61 and I remember the first Hot Wheels car that I got. I think it was 1967.

I also remember Christmas morning in 1970, seeing the Mongoose vs. Snake dragstrip set under the tree.

I joined the Hot Wheels Club and they mailed you a Chrome Mustang called the Boss Hoss Sivler Special which couldn't be purchased in stores. If you have one of those, could you post a picture of it?

Alex........you found me out :yikes: Yeah, I need to change my user ID in a few places, lol
I am truly a fan of all makes of cars, and not just loyal to Ford. I hope I'm not slitting my throat here by saying that
I'm glad you were finally able to see the pics, sorry I didn't get back here in time to post up some links for you. Thanks for the compliments. :)

Wow nice display. I have one orinigal redline Mighty the new re-release. Two Mad Mavericks, (JL) one Mean Maverick(JL) 7 of the Fresh cheries and 6 of the Tigers. I have aproxx 700 HW cars in my collection (un opened) and my son has aproxx 500 that he plays with. Most of them are from 1995 and up. I have about 30 or so more to get all of them for this year. I'm not into repaints just new casting. Lots of details for $.99

I got rid of all my hotwheels stuff a real long time ago. But about 5 years ago in Austin my roomate boght a chevy citation. While cleaning it he found a Maverick hotwheel car in the seat. Its real beat up. It looks a lot like the mav with the spoiler but has no spoiler. It says on the bottom 1969 and Mighty Maverick. I find myself thinking a lot while looking at stuff on the internet and rolling across my desk. Sometimes I even make motor noises.
