    The main problems with doing this swap in a Comet or Maverick is that the motor is longer, giving issues with radiator clearance, and it is also taller giving hood clearance issues. But it has been done. Just my :2cents:

    Probably because as has been said before...parts are easier to find and expense is lower for doing a V8 swap. But everyone does them...the I6 route is just different.

    Inlines are out there just not as common as your v8

    Actually I know these folks and they do drive the car on the street. Guess which 10 second car is drawing a crowd around it in the pits...just sayin.

    70 mav, 71 grabber, 73 Comet, 2004 f-250 crew cab diesel, 2001 f-250, 2004 explorer, 2007 Gold Wing trike.
    That is a neat car, but I've never seen it run in the 10's. And I've seen it run a number of times. Still it's no slouch. Usually runs in the 12's. They used to go through a lot of motors when it ran that times. So they usually run it slower.:)

    In case you haven’t seen it, E85 is 85% Ethanol and 15% regular gasoline. In Arizona, it’s also just about 100% hard to find."

    Not true...there are suppliers here in Arizona.
