I wanted to know if a Maverick hood and front fenders would fit on a Comet? Are there many differences between the two cars? I think they look very much alike. I do think the cars would have to atleast the same year.

The year really dosen't make a whole heck of a lot of difference. The hood will only swap if you swap the Maverick grill onto the the Comet. You will notice that the Maverick hood and grill is flat while the Comet bulges out. The fenders will swap fine for the most part. If you put '73-'77 fenders on a '70-'72 car, you will have to cut the notch out on the front for the filler panel to fit.

    Even more questions

So if I wanted to put a Grabber hood on a Comet, it would only be a matter of a hood and grille swap? Maybe bumpers?

The body lines are the same so no problem there.

I'm assuming you're talking about the fender aprons. No, they are not interchangeable. Maverick and Comets only.
