I think there is a Wal-Mart every 25 miles along I-95 in Maine and more along Rt 1. Finally found a 1:24 Comet and a 1:24 Maverick at a Wal-Mart in Coventry RI. Fred
I think they plan towns around Wal-Marts here. Ellsworth seems like a whole other country away. I don't venture north of Portland very much. I think it's all lighthouses & lobster boats along the coast and woods & moose away from the coast. It all just keeps repeating. Maybe you're really seeing the same Wal-Mart over & over!
Don't forget the bears. We have a family of black bears living on our property. I've seen the female and a cub. I haven't spotted the male yet, only what he leaves behind. I found 3 yellow 1:24 Mav's and 1 1:24 Comet today at a Wal-Mart in Brunswick Maine. Fred
Note: Per Walmart, many of the smaller stores are not even going to carry the Fresh Cherry's any more. The 1/64 are completely gone, some stores may get the 1/24's. Most were stung with the gremlins and pinto's.
went to our local wally world before heading up to chicago this week, and saw almost nothing fresh cherries wise.( all pintos and 1 71 stang fastback), when in chi-town, saw none whatsoever. wal-mart is starting to resemble k-mart(as in a ghost town) in some depts. whats up wit dat? p.s. tom, got the comet today(actually arrived while i was gone). man shes a peach.
