Just paid $200 for a 1973 galaxie 500 with a 351 Windsor and a C4 crank case fill transmission. I'm going to pull the motor and transmission for some future use in the maverick. I was happy to see that the horn pad looks like it will fit my maverick. As you guys know I have been looking for the horn pad. I jusst don't see anything else I can use off the car so if anyone else in the Dallas area needs something off the car just email me before I have it towed off.

I'm not trying to sell any parts off the car After I take the motor and transmission out any body in my area can just come by and get what they want for free. The car just needs to roll for the wrecker. Then I'll be happy to get the $60 -70 they give me

    Good score.
That is a good vintage for the 351w.
    Good heads... best available stock.
Low compression, but I figure you'll build it anyway...
Spend the extra 200 bux and throw in a 393 crank!

Yes will rebuild the motor. and stuff it in the maverick at sometime after the 302 we have now blows up. Have the ability to rebuild, and a good machinist just don't know all the specs and tricks. aka 393 crank. Its better if I just, tell my guy what I want when I bring him the parts. and am able to cut back my shock towers myself but will be the first time to cut shock towers back. Have seen pics but would like some measurements.
and then headers don't think mine will fit the 351w heads. any help appreciated.

a 393 crank up the displacment from 351 to 393 cubic inches by giving you a longrt piston stroke. think od having a deeper cylinder.

you will need new headers as well. the shock tower cut is just for the easy of getting to plugs and whatever else. you can get away with out doing it though.
