Leaking fuel tank

    Hi everyone, I have a 1974 Maverick that I bought a couple of years ago. When I bought it, the fuel tank had already been patched, but patch didn't hold. Since it seem to be leaking from many place, I want to change it, but so far I only found a tank that was made for a 1976 model.
    Do you think I would be able to fit it on my car, or do I have to keep looking?

    So, if I get the 76-77 tank, it will fit in the hole, all I'm going to need is longer strap bolts. Does the hoses and the gauge will fit also?

    I have the 76-77 fuel tank in my 74. Longer bolts is all that is needed.
