I am looking to find out if a t-5 conversion kit for my 71 comet is available ,cross member cable kit etc. Thanks any help is appreciated
sorry it is a 250 c.i. inliner and it was originally a 3 on the tree, I was just thinking there must be a kit for the conversion by now.I actually pulled this drive train from my 63 falcon of which we made the conversion ,just hated the pusher ele.fan ,the 250 os a bit to long for the falcon but will work the way i like in the comet, 3 autolite 1100 series ,big valves ported ,balanced ,approx. 9.5 c.r. headers, just missing the kitchen sink and some great parts from fordsix.com,but the little falcon ran strong so with a freshen up and bigger cam more compression and approx. 150cfm more carburation,I think it will run ok .Hoping to dip into the 14's just painted the engine compartment today ,next step set the motor and tranny in then the 3;80 8"posi in measure and have a driveshaft built then finish the body paint and interior ,sounds to easy ,yeah right!!! thanks for your help
