Those of you that want ' BU Lights ' ... We installed 68 Mustang back up lights on the Comet and they look great , and function well . Look on the CAMEO website and you will find a article showing what we did to install the Mustang Back up lights. No big deal !! Just be careful measuring for the placement of the BU LIGHTS before you cut into
    the metal .

Found a beautiful set of Bobcat tail lights. Wasn’t that hard.

it's hard to find a set of thoes that aren't pitted.
I've had a set of each and found the stamped ones are the easy ones to mod.

you ever get down to the monday night Summit shows?

Have plenty of close up photos. Would have preferred stamped frames. Doesn’t matter. They will be sanded, prepped to a high finish appearance and painted black. Haven’t made it to a Summit event. Wanted to last June for a all Ford show but there was rain in my area. Going to a judged show at lake Allatoona on Saturday.

I finally found a pair in pretty good shape, but I modified them completely to add the active light in the adjacent panel, and also had the frames re-chromed. I also re-polish all of the lenses so they look new too. The re-chrome was way more expensive than I expected, but I wanted that look. I'm not doing the blackout back panel when I have it painted, it will all be the same as the body color which I personally think makes it more elegant, as shown in the pic of a yellow one. The finished piece after chrome is on the golf cart. This took some work using a salvaged extra pair of Maverick lenses, but I think I achieved what I wanted which was to have something that truly looked original, but is also functional on both sides. Never hurts to have more brake lighting for safety. Don't have pictures on yet because I won't install them until the car is repainted. Those came out real nice. It would sure be nice if they were available in reproductions.
