You can look here for parts: http://www.maverick.to/mmb/forumdisplay.php?f=13 Or post an add here for parts you need: http://www.maverick.to/mmb/forumdisplay.php?f=14
The advice given so far is good advice You won't find any of that stuff reproduced or new so the classifieds here or Ebay can be very helpful. Craigs List is also somewhere you might find what you are looking for
well i found the car on craigslist for 250 so i was stoke to get it..but theres no parts or anyother car in se mo..
Usually a hood can be shipped by Greyhound bus cheaper than conventional UPS or Fed-Ex so you might have to expand your looking area. Post in our classifieds - might find someone here who has a hood for sale who can meet you halfway.
I am in the process of stripping a 76 Comet If you want to take the drive I probably have all the parts you would ever need. I am located 2 hours west of KC right on I70. Let me know.
I know where a hood is near Paducah Ky if your not to far from there. Can't remember what shape the dash was in.
I sold a Kid a '76 that he rattle caned the insides red...headliner, seats, carpet , dash and door/panels...
I have all the parts you need. I am near Dallas, TX but can ship parts. The biggest item would be the hood. Shipping by Greyhound bus will be about $100. I'll sell the hood for $100. I have several dashes out with wiring and gauges attached. I'll take $75 plus shipping. And I have all the small parts you might need. PM me for more details. Rick
if I saw that car and had the cash I woulda bought it. I dont think I would scrap it just strip the crap tacular rattle can paint off and see what youve really got if its a rust bucket you can make double your money on parts especially if its a v8 car. I think you scored and if its half a good as it looks build it. parts are fairly cheap until you get into high performance parts anyway.
