If anyone in the Pacific North West or southern BC is looking for something to do this weekend, May 20, the Lost in the 50's event is on. Lemme know if you're there. I'm driving down on Saturday. MD
Question, how long has this show been held??? Used to know someone in Sandpoint & he never mentioned it...
Apparently this is the 32nd annual one. Check out Idahocalendar.com and scroll down through the events. MD
The Lost in the Fifties car show in Sandpoint was great. The setup was angle parking on two streets and three avenues in the old downtown. It seemed really organized with lots of room for trailer parking and a parking lot for vehicles for sale. The vintage was 1975 and older. This year there were about 10 Rat Rods entered. Lots of Fords present but not a single Maverick. Bob, (Maverocket) was there and we had dinner with him and his family. Great to get together with another Maverick Forum buddy! The icing on the cake was finding the Hot Wheels Maverick from the Vintage American Muscle collection at Wally World. This posting is useless without photos so I am offering up a Ford Country Sedan which I have never seen at a car show before. I'm told it's basically a Galaxie 500 Wagon. Enjoy! MD
