What do you think of my new lower control arm made out of a solid billet? Now I need to make one for the other side.
Well with this design, you wouldn't have to worry about too much backspacing of the wheel! Never a tire rub.
I think that lower arm would provide too much negative camber. Actually the tire would probably ride on it's inside sidewall.
You cant fool me, I know your going for the most cubic inches title in a maverick. Thats really a piston rod!!. I guess you'll have to put a hood scoop for clearence.
Well, I'm not sure, but it is in fact a lower control arm. I was told it is a prototype for a survelance vehicle. That's all I know. It started out as a 400 pound chunk of aluminum, and was less than 50 lbs in the end!
I'm not sure why I posted this here. I should have posted this subject in "Off Topic". Sorry, y'all! ....To Be Continued in the "Off Topic" threads...........see you there! Here's the post: Lower Control Arm Continued.....
