Probably but you need to pay attention to the pushrod length or else your pedal could be much too high (or low as the case may be). Also; the brake line fittings may be a different size. They are different even among various model years of Mavericks/Comets...

The Ford masters are still plentiful as they fit several models of cars, like Granadas. You shouldn't have any trouble finding one newly rebuilt through almost any parts store.

I have a 72 Comet GT, and im going to replace the master cylinder w/ a Dodge one for better braking at the track. If your interested in mine, you can have it.

There is a write-up on line that I saw quite some time ago about a Geo Metro brake booster and plastic T-Bird master fitting our cars with only 2 holes to drill.
Gives you power brakes with a tiny booster that fits behind the shock tower.
I know it's a little O/T, but I thought some might be interested.

    Just checked the site...
He is selling it now. Parts list and directions $15.00.
I have to look on the 'puter... I think I downloaded and saved it when it was posted.

That's very interesting. I've never liked the big (stock) power brake booster and the large, odd-shaped spring tower brace on the driver side for Mavericks. Would definitely like to hear more information and see some pics...
