    AngryBison_71,

I make no apologies for my statements to this thread. My last two or three PM's went unanswered. One prior e-mail and one I just sent on Aug 11 went un-answered. We have gone 4 months since my PayPal payment was received by you. The last communication I had from you was late May-early June.

Yes you did say it would take a while, but take a while is subjective and could mean most anything. The proper thing for you to have done, and it would have avoided this thread, was for you to have kept us updated every two weeks or so.

Now, you can get all bent out of shape and think we haven't treated you fairly, but you would have acted the same way had the situation been reversed. What we were supposed to think? Checks cashed, no responses, and no one, I mean no one left a post on here about the prior jackets purchased and how they took. Not a single membered assured us that we just had to wait. One did leave a post about a watch, but he decided he had been ripped off before it arrived a year after purchase. I've been in sales and marketing for over 23 years. You cannot, I repeat, you cannot go weeks on end without communicatiing with your customer. If nothing else comes out of this, maybe in the future, you'll set yourself up a system where you can follow-up with your customers and inform them of your progress or even the lack of it.

I look forward to getting my jacket and hope very much that it is worth the wait. But, there is no excuse for the lack of communication. None.

Jim; sorry you feel that way. We are your customers, and before now, never had a problem with you or your merchandise. I did not know you had problems, and neither did any one else. Like Hawkco said, all you had to do was let us know you were going to be delayed, and there would have been no problem. We are not bad guys, and neither are you, we just like to know where we stand. I am looking forward to getting my jacket, and I hope the problems you had are now fixed. But, like Terry, no apologies, but no more on the subject either. I consider it closed, and no grudges. Take care,

    All,

I do wish that starting this thread hadn't caused so many temper flares and hurt feelings. However, I am pleased that Bison took the time to have these made on our behalf and has shipped them out to us. I, for one, am looking forward to wearing (and bragging about) it.

The thread has served its intended purpose and I will eventually ask to have it closed, or even removed.

I'm inclined to agree with Earl. However, I would like to get the jacket first.

I got my jacket today. It is very good quality and looks absolutely great. It would have been worth the wait, if I had been kept updated. I would buy another one or two, but only if I am assured that he would keep me updated or up front tell me exactly how long it will take and give me a specific time to expect my jacket.

    Great jacket!
