Is there any motor mounts that interchange with a maverick. I was wanting a urethane mount. I know that Prothane makes a mount for a Mustang. Thanks ahead of time. Eldogg

Personally ive never liked the motor mounts Ford put in these cars...each and every maverick/comet ive owned had some sort of engine vibration in the car....It would be cool to fit like a fox body mount in there
Not saying that there isn't an interchange out there, but I have tried different mounts and found the Mav mounts to be unique... at least to those I have tried. The engine stands are different. I have seen other engine stands interchange. The engine mounts from other Fords always seem to extend too far outward. You could go to your local Advance or AZ and buy the 15 dollar stock replacement for the Stang you have in mind, try it, and then take it back to the parts store for a refund. Tell them it was wrong, or whatever. They don't ask too many questions. If it works, order your 'good' mounts, if not, you know not to waste your dough.
Call Autoworks International for a set of custom adjustable motor mounts that allow you to adjust the motor front to back as well as side to side. They are similar to the Ron Morris Mustang mounts but designed to bolt into our Maverick engine bays. 619-401-6900 These are not cheap but they work very well, clear all the common headers used in our cars, Headmen, Hooker, etc. and control vibration very well. Also, they cannot separate and allow the motor to rock like come of the stock motor mounts can.
