I've read several threads about the use of 67-68 Mustang bumpers on 1970-1973 Mavericks. The general consensus seems to be that the bumper don't fit. Exactly what does that mean? Does it mean that they aren't direct bolt ons? That the ends hit the body? That they don't match the body lines? Are they too wide? What are the issues associated with the Mustang bumpers? Thanks...
They usually refer to the Rear ones, which are a little too wide. But some people have used them before in the past. as far as the front goes i've never heard or seen anyone run mustang bumpers on a maverick. *Excluding the mavstang. for you technical guys*
I remember Frankie saying that he used one before, i don't know if this was the car or not but as you can see the bumper doesn't fit right with the body lines.
