Ok so my question is has anyone had success with a mustang floor pan to patch a 1970 mav?
The floor pan patch is not going to have to line up with any edges of the car like the rocker panels or near the wheel wells or anything. Also I'm curious what to get as far as mustang coupe or fastback or whatever and what year. The patch is basically the dip down right behind the driers seat where the back passengers feet would rest.

my sheetmetal guy just changed the complete floor of my mav (without the tunnel, both sides separately) to a mustang floor caliber 16 and self made torque boxes. they fit really nice.
im not sure which year mustang floors they are, i believe '67.
just needed little cutting and welding in.

the only thing that didnt fit were the holes to screw down the seats, because we had to move the torqueboxes more backwards because of my long legs.
but when you close them properly and make new ones it shouldnt be a big deal.
