mustang gas tank and sending unit

    does any one know if a late 60's to early 70's mustang gas tank or just the sending unit will fit a 1970 mav

    they bolth look the same as the mav's :huh::huh:

    Original 72 Sprint Owner, 71 Comet GT, 57 Ranchwagon, 57 4 dr Wagon
    The tank will not fit without modifications. I dont know about the sending unit itself. My thoughts is that it will fit in, but the shape of the pickup would not be correct. Ford Carlisle is coming up soon. If someone has an old 70 sending unit they can get to me, I can go to CJ Pony Parts and compare them.
