Yeah, your only about 90 miles from me! I live about 10 miles east of Austin, in Manor just off of Hwy 290. We'll have to get together!

    stearing coloum!!!!!

today I finally got around to the stearing coloum part of my project. Tomm this is another part that you will have to address too,the maverick has no bearing at the base of the coloum because it bolts directly to the box. so what I did was this I used the lower shaft and bearing from the bobcat that donated the front end.....and I also used the piece from the bobcat stearing coloum that took the place of the shift colar. To use the bearing from the bobcat I also had to do away with the shift tube so the bearing would go up in the base of the coloum. when you tear the coloms apart the lower, and upper part of the coloum shafts nock apart and fit perfect!! I will try and take some pictures tomorrow, it will probably help out with what I'm trying to explain.:D

Robert, Thanks. I noticed that today and was trying to figure out what to do about it. Hope I can get the major stuff done before I have to leave. Pictures would be great. Got the car level in the back yard today. got to make some measurements and then start cutting the towers out.

Doug, if I don't have to leave within the next week I'll get in touch and see if I can make a quick trip there.
    Thanks
    Tomm

    Thanks

Doug, is there any place there in Austin you can buy the windshield gasket. Checked around here and was quoted a price of 89.95 before taxes, if they could even get it.
    Thanks
    Tomm
