    will the one off a 78 mustang 2 ,floor auto ,work on the maves floor auto?

    I don't know for sure if it will work....but go ahead and get it all. If it won't work....at least you could sell it on ebay.

    You would need the shifter, linkage and shift lever off the tranny for it to work properly. You have to drop the pan and valve body to remove the shift lever ... It would never function exactly like stock ... i.e. ... have the capability of locking the steering column. They are on eBay quite often ... I wouldn't bother getting dirty removing it even if it were free ... :2cents:
