mustang throttle cable on a maverick

    i heard some where that a fox body mustang v8 throttle cable is identical to a v8 maverick throttle cable. is this true, and if so, does it need to be a carb car, or will a fuel injected mustang have the same cable? if i am totally off what car would work?
