Got the drivers side header and the pass side tubes that were ready all welded up this week..... Finished tacking the 3rd tube on the pass side, started the 4th 3 times..... Struggling to get the length where I want it.....

Here's a couple pic's of the driver side header.....

I also got my new intake manifold and carb this week(did I say carb?)….. Let me tell you, If you are going to use one of the new Holley split intakes for the LS1 you better have some hood clearance for the big bad bitch.....

Looks good Frank, that gonna fit under your cowl hood? I surprised to see you go carb with this combination!

Thanks, it would definitely fit under a cowl..... The flat hood that's on the car now just barely touches the front vent tube on the carb, it will have plenty of clearance with the BOSS 429 scoop.....

Just going a little more old school for the moment.....

You plan to run O2 sensors? If so what O2 controller you gonna use? I’m still looking into it and learning.

I am going to use a wideband because of the ethenol, just haven't decided which one yet.... If it were just gas I would rely once reading plugs.....

The exhaust is done through the mufflers at the rear end, still need to make tailpipes but I am tired of screwing with pipe on my back right now..... Plus my shop was a grinding dust disaster between making the header and exhaust this far, it was driving me nuts and past time to clean up..... So I put the car on the ground and got it outside out of the way, then purged my the shop and car of grinding dust.....

Here's what the exhaust is looking like so far..... Front of car is lowered to ride height and rear is approx. an inch high, there is still some good ground clearence.....
