After work today I cut the mounting boss of the outside of my CS130D alt case because they loo like shit if you do not need them(I have done this a couple times on customers LS swaps we have done where this boss is not necessary for the aftermarket drive systems)..... Then I got it mounted on the motor with the new low mount alt only bracket I got earlier..... I also got some nice ARP Stainless hardware for the new bracket.....

Here is the boss I am talking about and it being removed.....

Thanks..... It should just clear when extended all the way out..... If I have to put a small notch in the frame, no big deal.....

Been working on the motor some more week after work..... Got the head studs installed, heads on and torqued, rocker arms/push rods on and torqued..... Today I got the valve cover and an steam port fittings on..... I also checked the fit of the after market valley cover and intake manifold so I could lay out the steam port manifold I want to make(more on this later).....

Here is the motor progress since Monday.....

Once again, I have been working on it a little this week after work..... Got the steam port manifold mounted on the valley cover and the assembly painted..... Installed the valley cover on the motor, also bolted the coils on the valve covers..... The fittings came in Thursday for the steam port manifold and I got the installed..... We were out of 1/4" stainless tubing at work, so I need to get some so I can get the lines made.....

Here are some pic's of the progress, the last pic is with the intake just sitting in place.....
