Micah put '74 reinforcement plates in his car and the bolt holes lined up, so I think it is safe to say that 74 did not incorporate it. I did the drop without a template because I think the templates move the holes forward from where I think they should be. I will admit that I am a novice, and my car is a toy and an experiment, and I have limited car fabing experience, but after moving the holes both down 1 inch in a direction plumb with the bottom of the frame and back 1/16 of an inch, also shiming the front of the control arm shaft 1/8", I have 3 1/2 degrees of caster (according to my calculations) and my wheel is centered in the fender. I cant drive it yet because I have to get Granada tie rod ends for the spindles I put on. o_O I bought moog UCAs, and will have to resort to the ones with the built in drop
if this turns out to be a failure.
