NEED CARB FOR 72 Mav 6cyl immediatly!

    got to move the car for winter in Wisconsin here. buddy used B-12 chem clean on carb and FU**** it up.carb is for sure a no go.i was wondering where i could find one in useable condition.i looked on ebay and found one for $170.any suggestions or anyone have one they dont want thats layin around the shop???

    How long do you need to use it? My mav is off the road right now, I have a '77 6cyl 250.

    Ill give you the benefit of the doubt that you can be trusted, as I dont know you and you have very little post count...Id be willing to let you borrow it for free if you pay for shipping both ways and its returned in the same condition it was shipped(please dont abuse it...lol).

    Only condition is that it needs to be returned by Feb.-March before I get my car back on the road...I might be doing a V8 swap, if I do we'll see what we can do on letting you keep it.

    Consider this a nice gesture for a fellow Mavrickan (y)

    I'm not familiar with 'Chem B' but if he just burned out a couple seals the rebuild kits can be had at any parts house fairly cheap.

    found what i needed thanks guys. and as for the chem cleaner it didnt burn the gaskets.it ended up cleaning out the carb to well.all the metallic powder that was sealing up some of the moving components got washed clean and began to leak out of spots where there arent any gaskets.
    = carb wornout
