Hopefully someone can help me,. I have a 70 6 cyl Mav with 4 lug drums. I just replace all the drums, shoes, wheel cylinders and master only to find I out my front brake lines are clogged. I can't find them anywhere. Does anyone know if there is an interchange with another car. It has a banjo style fitting on the wheel cylinder side. Any help would be awesome!

Several seem to have this issue and I've never heard of a source for the lines, apparently are unique to '70 Maverick...

The '71 uses the same hose as '67-'71 Fairlane/Torino/Ranchero, etc... Part no C70Z-2078-A (both R&L)

What I'm guessing is you may have to swap to later wheel cylinders and use that hose... I don't know if those hoses have the same fitting on chassis end as the '70...

Mac's has this hose, check link for pict...

The front hoses for a 71-73 Mustang w/disc brakes will fit. You will need to used a 3/8"-24 male to 7/16"-24 female adapter fitting between the wheel cylinder and hose.

Jeff, any number of brake hose shops can take your old hose and make a new one reusing your old fittings. Your picture is a LH hose - the one on ebay as Paul said is a RH one. They are not interchangeable.

google vintage car brake hose repair - you will find a number of places that do the work.

We use Brakequip for brake hose fabrication, they have a dealer locator on their site, look there to find one close to you.

VERY NICE! - so much safer than trusting a 45 year old hose.

    :)
