My father has a 1977 Ford Maverick and finds that he needs to replace the muffler system.

We have been searching for some time and can't find the part.

Any ideas on where to look? We live on Long Island, New York.

Any NAPA dealer or compentent parts store should be able to get you a muffler. You can also try JC Witney.

If all else fails....try Midas. They can probably get it the same day if they don't have it in stock.

Coop is right...try Midas. I use to manage one and they can get you taken care of. They will have a couple of options for you, a lifetime warranted muffler and a one year muffler. Spend the extra $20 or so and get the lifetime one because the other is a generic and is not the same exact specs as the original and will not last as long.
