Cooper offers their Cobra RWL tire in a 235/60-15. It will be shorter than a 70 series with the same width.
My thought is the P245/60 will fit onto your 15x7 wheel nicely. It will give you more tire back there without being too tall and it will match the 60 series you have in the front. Giving you a nice all around look. JMHO
Hey, call me a dummy... or worse. My master cylinder has a chrome cover and I want to change my brake fluid after the car has sat for several years now. Remind me... DOT 3 brake fluid?
Yes, stock was Dot 3 - as long as your system is stock, this is the one you want. There is a range of different boiling points in different brands of Dot 3's - and Dot 4 is also compatible with Dot 3 systems Never mix in Dot 5 with the others Then there is a Dot 5.1 too, which is like 4 with a higher boiling point. Confused yet?
Glad you posted that I wasn't going to be brave enough. I switched to DOT 5 when I rebuilt brakes on Cobra in '92-ish, till a '19 quickie flush, it had that same fluid. Around Y2K it did have a leaking rear wheel cylinder, but otherwise all parts are same inst in '92.
