    Hi Earl,
That is actually what i have done in the past for the regular lock nuts. Worked great! The problem i am having with the posi-locks is that i get the nut adjusted correctly, take the socket off to tighten the allen, and then shortly thereafter the nut is out of adjustment again. Ugh! I suppose i could hold the nut with a pair of needlenose or something, and i'm sure there are other methods, but it just seems like a lot of work (is it really worth it?). One of these days i'll get around to it.

There is a tool that you can make or buy from some place like summit or Jegs . Basically it is a box end wrench with a 90 degree bend right after the box then another bend about 2 or 3 three inches up . A small tube or pipe is welded to the vertical part of the wrench where you can insert the correct Allen wrench ( T handle type is what I use )

It works by adjusting the gap with one hand and setting the screw with your other hand . I wish I had a digital camera so I could take a picture of it for you . A very useful tool .

Besides the coils, you have to make sure the rocker and pushrod don't bind either. At high lifts it's possible for a rocker to actually run out of clearnace in the slot under the ball.
