That is cool. Not a true variation in the strictest sense ... usually happens when they mix the next batch of paint and it isn't stirred completely, or when the machinery gets a color change. It might pick up some residue of the other color.

That used to happen a lot to the earliest cars ... candy paint is very touchy to that and to variations between light and heavy coats.

I finally gave in and went looking for one of these the 1st time I found a 10 pack it had one blue Maverick but it seems to me it looked more like a racing Maverick it looked like it had bigger tires on the back. Am I wrong, have you guys seen the 10 pack of assorted cars? I didn’t buy it because I didn’t want 9 other cars went back Saturday bought a blue one.

there you go :thumbs2: ... you got a good neighbor there.

... i've been doing that for years - giving away unwanted toy cars to nephews, friends' kids, and the neighbor kids.

the more good friends you have ... the better off you are, i have always thought (y)

There was a TON of blue ones at WalMart today. Found one 10 pack with the yellow Mav and the Blue Torino special car (very close to one I had in the late 70s) Somehow I resisted the temptation ... might have been because I was light on cash, too ... :D
