    Well according to Hot Wheels they never made a yellow one, but if you have one it might be rare!

    Yup Gold! not yellow :)

    The easy way to tell is the "Hot Wheels" Font color, that is yellow.
    Now compare it to the car.

    Actually now That I look at mine it does look like the same color as the font:rofl2:
    I'm color blind though'

    And I never got back to that thread but I found the info on their official website and yes the stripes are yellow (y)

    Three 71 Maverick Grabbers, a 72 302 Sprint, a 73 LDO 2door parts car, a 76 silver v8 Stallion.
    The four red ones I got came from eBay...one auction. I paid $9 total including shipping but it was worth it to me. I would have done spent way more than $5 in gas looking for just ONE of them. If they become plentiful, which I figure they will, my wife will load me up with them. :)
    If not...I got enough to satisfy me. (y)

    They sell Hotwheels at WinCo Foods also...got a gold grabber there today.

    WinCo is the best store ever! Too bad they don't have one here in Riverside.
