I've found none of the new ones in PA. and I travel quite a bit with my job. I bought 1 of the regular ones and 1 of the Treasure Hunt ones through Ebay just in case I never find any in the stores :yup:

New issues usually hit the west coast and come east. I haven't seen any here in FL yet, and have been looking on a fairly regular basis. ... keep the faith, they will get here.

Got my Treasure Hunt Maverick in yesterday's mail - i didn't know until I opened it, that these cars are numbered. I also didn't know that there are only 247 of these little treasures produced - Mine happens to be 179 of 247. :yahoo:

Cool! Is the number on the car or the card? I've got my second one coming. The first one was a loose one but the one coming now is mint on card.

You're not going to like this ... that number on the bottom means that there will be 247 separate variations of ALL Hot Wheels released this year. All HW Racing Teams Mavs will have that same number on the card, because that is it's release number.

Look at HWs from recent years and you will see the very same thing.

PS ... if there were only 247 of each Treasure Hunts released, that car would be worth at least $200, IMHO. Nice thought ... ;)

I guess I am to used to seeing these types of numbering on baseball/football cards - oh,well - for a moment I actually felt better about paying what I paid for a 1.00 Hot Wheels car

I just paid 30.00 on ebay for a Super Treasure Hunt Mav and Treasure Hunt Mustang. I figure I could at least relist the Mustang and get some of my money back.

I still need to find one of those standard flame Mavs though to complete my collection. We have not had those at our Wal-Mart yet.

The flamed ones are starting to show up around here. Got 2 STH's and 5 regular ones for now. I'll pick up a few more of the regular ones as they show up. I usually stash away 10-15 of the new releases for some reason. I guess mostly because they're only a buck....not to mention the ones that people pick up and bring to me because they saw a Maverick and thought about me not realizing that I already had a dozen of them. :)

If they dont have them hear by Biloxi, I may have to buy one from you. I usually dont have this much trouble getting them here.

No problem Chris, I should have plenty of them by then.
