    I said Walmart.

And, I just verified at Toys R Us they are in nine and 20 packs there, too; I just picked up a 20 pack containing TWO Black Mavericks with yellow striping, (think it was a packing mistake... my bonus)

Rayzor, e-mail with attachments sent as I didn't see what you indicated. Beautiful day, need to do some maintenance on my Grand Cherokee while weather permits.

    Enjoy!

Can you post a photo of the car?

By popular demand. Was looking in the wrong place to upload - thanks, Rayzor.

Is that truly black or actually the dark blue version? I haven't heard about a black version coming out :)

Your photos are small and it's hard to tell

Definitely a dark charcoal/metallic black; how am I to increase the size when loading?

It's hard to tell, that's for sure. None of the online Hot Wheels sites list anything about a "black" variation, and the Maverick isn't even in the 2013 mainline.

I think I remember the purple version being found, hanging on a Hot Wheels store rack, by someone here on the forum too

I have three of the metallic purple as well as the metallic blue - both have the Hot Wheels Logo.

Do you have the blue street beast, with the yellow stripes? Put them all side by side, blue, black, purple, so we can see them. I was just in a WalMart in Michigan yesterday, they had a lot of the new cars, but I didn't see any Mavericks.

That one I do not have. Can't put them all together at present because my shipment hasn't arrived from Singapore. When it does, I will.

I'd like to find what I think was called the "Mean Maverick" from the early '70s. I had two; one was a light, flat green with some blue swirl stripes, scooped hood, sidepipes, and slightly flared fenders. The dark blue one had orange swirls, same body features. Ugly stripes, but they were a pair of bad boys.

I have not seen the one I've photographed as a single, only in packs. Done buying packs as there is nothing else I want in them and only my six-year old nephew benefits from the expense...

These just hit the shelves this past week and I know this for fact because I've been looking while chasing my NASCAR collection, (racers and rigs), ALL WEEK, nearly every day; Target, Walmart and T-R-U. The Black Mavericks seem to be new, but I wonder why they haven't been advertised?
