    this site offers special hot wheels to members only first. then when they have any left over it go for public sale. in this case no body wanted the maverick... kinda like real life. until they go... wait min i can make a really cool car out of that. ooppss too late! lol!

    in the past they have offered other mavericks like these i think i only missed the one that came out in 2006 and 2009

    I remember when that Maverick was first offered and I believe it had a 1 car per person limit - I went ahead and ordered 2 of them to see what would happen, figuring they would only sell me one anyway. It turned out that I received both of the Mavericks that I ordered (y)

    Well I finally got to the walmart after they restocked the hotwheels display. Still not one maverick. I also checked a second walmart and a k-mart and came back empty handed.

    I found a black and gold one today in a 9 pack. It also had a black aussie falcon, Yellow 66, 427 fairlane and a green late model mustang so I bought it. I now have 9 of the mavericks amung many other fords. :dance::tiphat:

    Walmart is where I always see them. I posted earlier if anybody was interested and I wasn't charging any fee, but got no responses. I was there yesterday and they didn't have any in stock.

    I found mine in a 9-pack at Fred Meyer and I haven't seen any since. There are a lot of the Hotwheels racing cars in blue and purple in the singles but not the black cars. I haven't checked at wal-mart.
