It makes no sense. They should be plentiful like the rest of them. I bought a treasure hunt car for less than a disco car!

I bought one of the 4 that were listed in the link for 15.95 and, since I have Amazon Prime, I have free shipping so at least I have 1 of these and can stop looking :thumbs2:

They seem a little overpriced for such a ugly design, wait 6 months, and they will be cheaper.

That's what happens when you associate Disco with anything ... lol

Casting-wise, a van would have been a much better choice to represent Disco. More in touch with the era. Thank god we all got past that stuff ...

Disco really didn't become popular/mainsteam until about 1977. How a 1971 Maverick represents Disco I will never know. :hmmm:

If you listen to this "club" type music on the radio, I sometimes feel that we are still in that cookier cutter hits - techno era

I have to say, not a week goes by that I don't play some BeeGees or KC & the Sunshine Band, and a little Hot Chocolate or the Commodores never hurts anyone either.......but I am a DJ..and was a DJ back then!

I've listened to different FM ststions on the way to and from work and only hear what I was referring to the "cookie cutter" hits - really short songs that seem to be produced by some money making hits factory. Only so much of that I can take. For the last 15 years or so I've been listening to music from Europe to bands like Nightwish, Xandria, Within Temptation, After Forever. These are labeled symphonic metal and all have a female lead singer with a really wide range of vocals. Mostly un-heard of in the US :)

I've been playing guitar since 1968 (8 year old midget playing with 15 yo kids at my guitar school). Challenging guitar-driven stuff is what I am attracted to for the most part, and disco/techno doesn't fit for me. Music where there is more computer programming than talent drives me a bit nuts.

My band tends to play stuff that is pretty organic. None of use a lot of effects (even though we have the toys to do that). Mostly Classic Rock and Blues and a bit of Funk.
