awesome project! working on a '68 Coronet myself btw, if u ever wanna part ways with it then lemme know, my dad wants an old road runner to work on
Russ, I'm a closet Mopar fan myself, had a RR when I was young. So many years ago. Gonna be nice when you are done!
So, I guess this means you have come out of the closet ?:bananaman Please forgive me . I am an AMC fan, myself. No way I could afford to have one of those though. And talk about "hard to get" parts.
I spent a couple hours today rebuilding the passenger rear window channel corner. my goal is to fix one bad spot a day.
if the rear window trim is off your car can you post some pictures of the corners so i can see the "contour" around where the trim sets
mine are gone (rusted). here's what i bought to fix mine instead of having to fab up something... http://www.classicindustries.com/mopar/parts/mm1582.html
Russ, nice new project. I always liked that body style Road Runners. I grew up riding around in a friends 68 road runner, 440, 4 speed. Purple with white bucket seat interior, spent many a weekend nights laying under that car changing gears to take it to the strip. It was a blast to ride in and drive! Good luck with it. Possible retro mod? Allen Small
Russ, Let me know if need to some certain parts you can not find. I am still in contact with my friend who had the road runner and I am sure he has a lot of sources for parts. He is a die hard Mopar fan, he just finished a 68 Barracuda restore for himself. I could hook you up with him and see if he can help you out. Allen Small
This is what I would like to have. . Heck, there is a running '73 Gremlin, for $1,000.oo, in the Carolina Bargain Trader Magazine, that I contimplated going to look at. I like those too.
