new (to me) truck....

    i havent either. a friend of mine said that they've been known to do it on "big" trucks to keep down resonation. honestly it sounds really good, but i just dont like the look :rolleyes:

    I haven't driven or even been around big rigs for a very long time, but I've never seen a setup like that.:huh: The ones I saw had a round Y pipe off of a single out of the engine, like on the modern vehicles that are dueled out with a cat back system.

    That is a nice truck that should pull your house off of it's foundation. I'd lose the stacks myself, I prefer a usable bed that won't cause fires on or melting to items I put in the bed over having the exhaust stacks coming through the floor any day! But then again I use a truck as a truck, not a car.
