Thanks guys! That's the good side though...the other side of the bed had a little dent in it, because I guess the truck was repo-ed and a tow-buckle snapped and put a little dent in the bed. But when we bought it it had no chrome on it at all. The seller was asking $2,100 but we got it down to $1,500. $300-400 later, that's what we got. Alls I need now is a hitch and a trailer and I'll have a cool, period-correct, Mav-Hauler.
Looks good ,I like the wheels. Should pull a trailer with a Maverick on it just fine,the problem with towing is STOPPING!
Good point. My '71 F250 with 4 wheel powered drums was a bit scary as well. Would definitely be a good idea to swap some discs onto that truck if it hasn't already been done. It's a bolt on swap, just find any '73-'79 Ford pickup with them and swipe the I beams and bolt them on your truck.
