I am new to this group and new to Mavericks, but not new to restoring cars. I have a 69.5 Maverick that I want to put a 302 in. I know where there is a set of motor and frame mounts for a 65 Falcon. Will these work? Or does anyone here on the board have a set to sell or know where I can get the right ones?

    Thanks

Thanks for the reply. I am still learning about what will and will not interchange.

69-73 Mustang and Granada/Monarch lower and upper control arms, springs and related hardware, shocks all fit. There can be some differences in ball joint taper on some cars.
The Mustang spindles may not directly bolt up.
For disc brake conversion, use the later Mav/Comet disc spindles or the Granada/Monarch units. The calipers are all the same. A good place to see what will interchange is the Whitney or other catalogs on some of these parts. Look at the part numbers that are the same between cars.
On the body, few parts will inter change except things like door hindges, heater motors and the like.
Power brake cylinder and control valve will be the same up thru 77. if you need 69 brake hoses, they will be hard to find.
302 engine /trans will all interchange. The 8" rear is the narrowest of all the cars so will only take a wider unit depending on you clearence needs. 9" Lincoln Versailles disc brake rear will go in with attendant, spring and its mounting, alterations.
Your car, I think has 9" drum brakes. You can upgrade to 10" 5 lug drum/spindle in the front but need to decide what to do about the rear 4 lug small brakes. The front to back bias will be upset unless there is attention given to adjusting the pressures. More than you ask for but hope it helps you get a handle on the situation.

And unfortunately, you need to get them from a Maverick or Comet... Nothing else will fit. Don't forget you'll ALSO need the Tranny mount too.
