Does anyone know where to get a couple of these? It's the rubber grommet on the rear e-brake cable that sits outside the backing plate. I don't really know if that's what Ford calls them. I got new brake cables, but these weren't included and the old ones are about to fall apart.

Any clues or suggestions would be appreciated.

When I looked on my 72' Grabber, on my rear drum backing plates, I just had metal snap-in retainers, that surrounded the cables, as they entered the backing plates, on my car...I didn't see any rubber grommets in this area, but then again...it's an old car...and I could be wrong.

*The only place I saw rubber, in the rear parking brake cable system on mine, was the little rubber boot that slides over the cable, to keep dirt out of the cable retainer, and is located after the transmission cross-member bracket. There is just one of these in the setup.

I did not see this rubber boot shown in the exploded view manuals. Mine had slid off the cable retainer, and I slid it back on when I noticed it. It's close to an inch long, maybe shorter.

I have only seen these really old Ford ones listed, and it doesn't look exactly like the one on my 72' Maverick, but they look similar:
(They describe them as: "This is the rubber boot that fits on rear backing plate and covers emergency brake cable.",
but the part on my Maverick's emergency brake cable that looked similar to this, was no where near the backing plates)

(*I'm not sure what size these are, as far as length and width)

I hate to show Chevy parts, but there are alot of Chevy ones listed, but don't know much about this obscure part:
