Hey guys. I just got an email from someone who's been lurking around the forum here and found our thread. Being my first go-around with a manufacturer, what he had to say really made me feel a little better about the trouble we are having. Im not going to say who it is or who they represent but just that I trust them and thought I'd share.

"In my personal opinion, the forum members are getting a super smokin’ awesome deal. It may seem like you are getting the run around but to have something go from pipe dream to the point it’s at within a two months is pretty impressive. It may seem like they’re ducking your calls but it’s probably really frustrating on their end to have 10+ people calling them to check on two parts that don’t really exist yet. Addco is a major manufacturer. Trying to get an ETA in a situation like that is actually really difficult for them to do. They’re not an off road shop out in the sticks with nothing better to do than shoot possums."

Anyway... Carry-on. I'll check back with them on Monday to see how they are doing.

i will agree that the addco deal is really good. my problem is that i was left with the impression that this would take about 6 weeks. im not sure where i got that from. i have not called them.

my friend jerry was sent the normal addco sway bars when he had ordered these. they sent him the front one first and we thought it was the rear because it was 7/8s. then the rear one came and thats when we figured out he had gotten the regular kits not this custom order.
it was this happening that had me feeling like hey wheres my sway bars?

i personally have a few months at the least before i will ready to put them on my car. so ill just wait patiently and forget all about them. then one day they will show and i can be pleasantly surprised.

I'll be calling them tomorrow for an update. They SHOULD be shipping out tomorrow from what they said last week. I'll see if they have any extras or can make anymore at this time.

In the meantime, show us some pics of your car. It looks like my kind of Mav. Do you have an introduction thread on the board yet? :tiphat:

    Hey Chris,

Could you check if they ship to Brazil? I'm really interested on buying only the front bar.

Please let me know what are the available payment options for me buying from here.

    Thank you.

I was billed first week in April when I noticed that my CC was charged twice, so I called to check, they accidently billed twice, but immediately cancelled the second charge. When I received my billing everything was OK.
At that time, they informed me that my sway bar was on the way, but when I went to pick it up, it was their regular 7/8" bar. I had to call them to see what happened, apparently someone got things mixed up and I was given their UPS account to return the bar. From reading earlier messages, I was not the only one who received their regular front bar by mistake.
As probably most members know now that it does take time for custom bar to be made up, so thanks to all who contacted Addco for updates and it sounds like our bars will be shipped out around May 17th. :thumbs2:

Also, during one of my conversations with John, they had some technical issues too, which probably took longer than first 2-3 week time frame..

OK... Just got off the phone. The bars are ready but now they are waitin gon hardware to show up. This has pushed our order out to be shipped on Wednesday.

On additional orders... unfortunately all bars have been bent and coated. No additional bars can be made without starting this process over again.

My wife just made me aware that my 1 1/8" Sway bar just got delivered to the house this morning. Looking forward to seeing it. Thanks again Chris for getting this set up.
